USA / Florida / West Palm Beach / Eat, pray… ummm that’s about it :-D Clematis Street & Church of Bethesda by the Sea & TREE!

I’m walking around on Clematis Street, the main street here.

I like the way they think over here 😉

Field of Greens

I’m looking for something green and fresh and end up in a place called Field of Greens.

It’s a pretty awesome place.
It’s a pretty awful picture.
As they say in my country: a hungry bear will not dance.
I’m starving and my photos are reflecting it.
Oooooh, nothing ever looks better than the colors of the rainbow on your plate.
YUM!
LOVE salads! And theirs was really delish.
They also have many different way of serving health: juices, smoothies – yum!
Adequately fed and showered with the vibrant energy of the place, I go exploring.
Anthony Hernandez street art
Bit of an understatement to call it that.
Incredibly big, incredibly detailed and very, very well done.
Downside of solo holidays – hardly any photos with me in them.
Finally I’m in one, kindness of a passer-by.
Anyway, check this guy out on Instagram @anthonyhernandezart – what a *star*
You know how every place has the ‘in’ place to shop, see, be seen?
This is it.
Malls and such are not really my thing so I was in and out, just like bad curry.
Love houses of worship.
Love this particular one: the stones, the shades, the energy…
Apparently this is where Donald made Melania Mrs. Trump.
The smell of the flowers: intoxicating…
I’ve said my prayers and am hoping to light some candles and make some wishes: the fun part 😉
There’s a gentleman who is there attending to the place. Not sure if he’s a priest.
Me: Excuse me, where are the candles?
Him: There are none ma’am.
Me: Oh?
Him: This is not a Catholic church ma’am (in my imagination, he sounds a little like he’s judging).
Me: Oh, I didn’t know.
Him: (Silent stare)
Me: I’m Muslim.
Him: Ohhhhhhh (big smile)
A rare instance where being Muslim actually gets you *out* of being trouble in the States 😀
But were you to ask me, out of everything experienced in West Palm Beach, which was the most mesmerizing?
I would say this below.
Yes, Tree.
Huge, magnetic, magical, mysterious tree that I came across during my walk and just couldn’t get away from.
187 year old kapok tree to be more specific.
Click here and go to it.
Give it a hug.
Never too late to become a tree-hugger.
Life is sweeter that way, really 🙂
Stay blessed darlings <3
